Are you an experienced Underwriter with Cyber knowledge? If so, we would love to hear from you.

We are seeking an experienced Underwriter to be a key part of our Cyber Underwriting Team. You will be responsible for growing the portfolio with key Brokers and Clients while maintaining and developing existing accounts. This position requires experience in Cyber underwriting within the regional insurance market and a strong focus on expanding external market presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the UK and Ireland Regional Cyber Manager to drive development opportunities and implement strategies for Cyber Insurance market penetration.
• Underwrite new business and renewals according to specified underwriting guidelines, budget, and business plans.
• Assist in formulating underwriting strategies, forecasts, and portfolio management to achieve profitability.
• Develop and prioritise products within the specialist Cyber Insurance field to enhance client retention and attract new business.
• Manage relationships with key brokers, internal and external clients to maximise business opportunities and ensure business acquisition and retention.
• Ensure adherence to company policies in terms of policy documentation, quoting timeframes, and compliance regulations.
• Mentor and support junior colleagues through peer review processes, training, and coaching.
• Build and maintain a strong external reputation in line with company values and culture.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in Cyber or Professional Indemnity insurance lines and handling complex client matters.
• Strong knowledge of insurance with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and supporting business goals.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills to build strong business relationships with brokers and customers.
• Ability to analyse and interpret financial data effectively.
• Proven track record in sales and marketing, with a proactive and self-starting attitude.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
