Are you graduating in 2025 and seeking a great opportunity in the London Insurance Market? Due to business growth our client is looking to hire 2 additional Analysts in their Portfolio Management team who are the intersection between venture capital, insurance, and hedge funds, with a primary focus on analytics within the insurance market.
As a Portfolio Analyst, you'll have hands-on experience designing and analyzing dashboards to monitor underwriting performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide actionable insights that help shape business strategy. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and support strategic decision-making.
In particular you will have the opportunity to collaborate with senior leadership, contributing directly to board-level analytics and decision-making.
Essential Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on micro-level thinking and the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
- Clear communication skills to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
- Familiarity with Excel; knowledge of SQL, Power BI, or VBA is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail for accurate data analysis and reporting.
Ideal Background:
- A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a quantitative subject such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Economics, or Finance from a top UK university (or an international equivalent) is essential.
- A Master's degree or PhD in a relevant field from a leading university would be an advantage, though not required.
- Relevant experience, projects, or internships in data analysis or insurance would be a bonus.
