We are working with a prestigious organisation who are keen to recruit a skilled individual to join our Health Actuarial Team in London. This hybrid role requires at least three days a week in the office.
You will lead financial analysis for various client projects, focusing on actuarial work for medical, life, and disability programmes, as well as large consulting projects in related sectors and new product launches.

You will lead financial analysis for various client projects, focusing on actuarial work for medical, life, and disability programmes, as well as large consulting projects in related sectors and new product launches.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage large client engagements, overseeing service delivery, strategy, financial evaluations, plan design, renewals, benchmarking, and more.
- Collect, test, and review client or vendor data for accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Project healthcare costs and provide general management consulting for healthcare entities, large corporates, and public sector organisations.
- Evaluate group risk and income protection benefits, providing pricing recommendations and strategies to manage future costs.
- Analyse cashflow scenarios, recommend capital management strategies, and oversee reinsurance limits.
- Deliver client reports and presentations summarising findings, implications, and strategic recommendations.
- Advise on retiree medical costs, life insurance, and disability valuations, including risk management strategies.
- Fully qualified Actuary with a Bachelor’s degree.
- Extensive actuarial modelling experience and the ability to work with large datasets.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Advanced IT skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience in Group Health & Life Protection products.
- Demonstrable leadership skills, with the ability to manage workloads and client demands.
