Expected in Crawley Office one day every two weeks over the next 6 months and then one - 2 days a week after.
The D365 Platform Lead is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the D365 team and driving the technical delivery and quality of the team.
This role will involve managing the Developers and Analysts within the CRM Squads, delivering functional change, security, support, continuous improvement and maintenance for the CRM system, Microsoft Dynamics 365. Whilst liaising closely with wider IT team, change and wider business.

Skills/Experience Needed
- Expert in Software Development Lifecycle
- Expert in development, configuration and Customisation of Dynamics365
- Understanding of / experience of working with test functions/testers to drive automation within D365
- Experience of Dynamics 365 Solution Management
- Experience in a variety of software development approaches and methodologies including Agile and Waterfall
- Agile frameworks
- Web technologies JavaScript, CSS and HTML
- SQL /TSQL / SQL Server including database design
- Experience managing process and control around D365 application, deployments and pipeliens
- Direct Line Management experience
- Development and delivery of Microsoft LogicApps
- Experience designing and implementing solutions using D365, LogicApps, Service bus and azure functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Take the lead in the day-to-day technical running of the team including facilitating ceremonies and unblocking team
- Work with Architecture to provide technical vision and direction to best support the business need
- Work with product owners to support roadmap/backlog management.
- Manage resources effectively to meet the business demand running multiple complex projects by driving up consistency to commitments within iterations and getting the
- Work with the Technical Lead in defining/improving consistent technical standards and best practices
- Ensure team adhere to coding best practises and standards
- Develop and enhance dashboards provide timely 'life' feedback on systems specifically pro-active fault monitoring
- Oversee all Line management duties and personal development of permanent developers and analysts within Squad
- Delivery oversight of contractors within Squad
- Facilitate Squad "retrospectives" to ensure continuous improvement to the delivery team velocity as well as participating in wider sessions
- Supporting the delivery of multiple complex simultaneous system development projects from design through to release
- Capable of understanding and contributing to the technical solution from design through to code level Working closely with Development Project Managers and Business Analysts to produce robust solutions and estimate work
- Support the Head of Applications and Engineering in recruiting additional resource into the team as appropriate
- Work with all delivery functions to continuous review our Delivery Ways of working, suggesting ideas and feedback
Salary/Benefits
£75,000 - £95,000.
