About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Salesforce Commerce Cloud Engineer to join their Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) Engineering team in the FMCG industry. In this role, you will work with an established Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform to build customer-facing experiences while enabling and supporting the digital teams.
This role requires a collaborative approach, working closely with Engineering, Product, and Data teams, as well as engaging with non-technical stakeholders such as Marketing, Customer Service, and Supply Chain.
Responsibilities
* Own features end-to-end within the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform.
* Plan, architect, and develop new features.
* Scope and estimate work packages, breaking down tasks for effective delivery.
* Review pull requests and maintain high-quality code standards.
* Ensure a high level of testing, including unit testing and end-to-end testing.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate technical and product issues.
* Contribute to architectural decisions and uphold development best practices.
* Work within an agile environment, using data-driven decision-making to pivot when necessary.
Requirements
* Software engineering background
* Strong expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud
* Expert knowledge of JavaScript
* Customer-focused mindset
* Strong communication skills, in both technical and non-technical environments
