Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our clients team in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for building and optimising data pipelines, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions.
• Optimise data workflows for performance and scalability.
• Work with cloud technologies, ensuring data security and compliance.
• Maintain and improve existing data infrastructures and platforms.
• Provide insights and support through data visualisation and reporting tools.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Proficiency in Pyspark for big data processing.
• Experience using Databricks for collaborative data work.
• Familiarity with Thoughtspot or other data visualisation tools.
• Understanding of data modelling, warehousing, and ETL concepts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
