Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and client-focused Java Developer for an exciting opportunity in the banking industry. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of a mobile web application, transitioning from Kotlin to Java. While Kotlin experience is not required, your expertise in Java and ability to adapt to a dynamic team environment will be essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work on a mobile web application, transitioning from Kotlin to Java.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of high-quality software solutions.
• Operate in a client-facing capacity, ensuring strong communication and rapport with stakeholders.
• Participate in the development lifecycle, including testing and debugging processes.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in Java development (enterprise-level projects).
• Previous background in the banking or financial sector is highly desirable.
• Ability to work onsite 2-3 days per week at Cannon Street, London.
• Strong client-facing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and effectively communicate solutions.
• Knowledge of mobile web application development.
• Adaptability and willingness to transition technologies (e.g. Kotlin to Java).
