A rare opportunity has been announced to work with a growing business who specialise in finance and provides their banking platform as a service (Saas) because it has been so successful. They are a growing business, and to support their growth, we are going out to market for a talented DevOps Engineer to join the business.
As an organisation, they have built everything from scratch, they are massively driven by technology and efficiencies it can provide to make day to day services run optimally. They invest heavily in their technology team from using the latest tools to using the best 3rd parties to assist with the build.
We are looking for someone who is extremely passionate about technology and the impact it can have, we need a dedicated AWS DevOps Engineer who can consistently deliver.
Role: Senior DevSecOps Engineer
Sector: Financial services
Location: London (1-2 days a week on site)
Salary: £75,000-£90,000
Benefits: 28 days AL, Private healthcare, equity in the business, discretionary bonus, 10% pension and life insurance
Essential skills required for the role:
- Hands-on experience working with AWS. Services include: EC2, EKS, S3, EFS, RDS, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, AppFlow, Glue, Athena, Redshift, API Gateway, Lambdas, WAF, CloudFormation and Control Tower.
- Experience working with IaC
- Strong Kubernetes troubleshooting and configuration
- Scripting experience – Bash/Python
- Experienced with DevOps tooling: CICD, Jenkins, GitHub, ArgoCD, Bitbucket
- Financial services background
- Strong people/stakeholder management
- Can do attitude
Desirable skills
- Understanding of security best practices: management of third-party security providers.
