I’m delighted to be partnered with a Leading Housing Association in the Southeast. My client are looking to hire a Finance Business Partner, to the join the Finance team of 25 and support the Rents and Service Charge team. Supporting the Rents and Service Charge Team and reporting into the Finance Director, the Finance Business Partner will be responsible for.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing the day-to-day financial performance management and reporting for the Rents and Service Charge team.
- Deliver excellent, value-added finance business partnering services to internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage full demand process, providing budget templates to Estate Managers.
- Preparation of service charge year end accounts and submission to the independent accountants.
- Preparation of year end accruals and prepayments schedules.
- Liaison with the independent accountants, estate manager & client to resolve accounting queries and obtain approval.
- Assisting rent increase process for Affordable Rent and Shared Owner.
- Check all client bank accounts within the portfolio are fully reconciled within two weeks of the statements date, to include the resolution of any uncleared items or discrepancies.
- Circulation of the year end accounts to all leaseholders.
- Qualified or Part Qualified accountant working towards a qualification - ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA
- Experience of working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams
- Business Partnering in Social Housing or Property
