We're excited to partner exclusively with our client on a unique opportunity for a Catastrophe Analyst passionate about the impacts of climate change on flood risk. As part of the Catastrophe Modelling and Climate Change team, you'll play a key role in understanding how weather and climate shifts affect hydrological balance and business risk. You will lead the internal catastrophe risk modelling process, quantify risks from extreme weather, and help shape the future of modelling practices. This role is perfect for someone with experience in catastrophe analytics or exposure management, eager to expand their skills in flood and climate change.

- Lead quarterly catastrophe risk modelling process.
- Develop risk metrics and present to internal teams.
- Contribute to Solvency II model validation.
- Support key projects, including the 2039 transition plan.
- Identify process improvements and manage vendor relationships.
- Analyze UK flood risk and support the Chief Actuary.
- Experience in catastrophe risk modelling with tools like RMS, AIR, or JBA.
- Degree in a relevant field (Maths, Geography, Hydrology, etc.).
- Strong interest in weather, climate, and hydrological systems.
- Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and Excel.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience engaging with stakeholders across teams.
