A fantastic opportunity has been announced to work with our business as a DevOps Engineer. We specialise in providing affordable housing across the UK, we are an established housing association who dedicate themselves to ensuring the service we provide our tenants is the best it can be. We are a business who are transforming their ways of working and seeking a DevOps Engineer to help us do it. We are a technology first organisation, we utilise brand new technology to create a fluid and efficient work environment which in turn allows us to provide the best service possible. We are a Microsoft stack house, so experience working with Azure is essential.
The ideal candidate for this position will appreciate the importance of putting our customer’s first and ensure that we have the best tools to do this. We are looking for someone who is passionate about technology, and wants to be responsible for real technological change within our business, you will champion DevOps ways of working through the business and train other members of staff to adopt these practices.
Role: DevOps Engineer
Contract: Permanent
Location: Manchester or London (Hybrid role – 2 days per week in office)
Salary: £65,000-£70,000(London) £58,000-£63,000 (Manchester)
Benefits: 28 days AL, 12% pension contributions, hybrid working, Health cash plan, 3x life assurance, extended Mat/Pat leave.
Key skills required for this role:
- Demonstratable DevOps experience
- Experienced with CI/CD pipeline in Azure DevOps
- Can demonstrate experience working with cloud technology (Azure, IAC, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
- Strong level of containerization experience using Kubernetes
- Willingness and ability to trin other members of staff on DevOps best practice
- Strong DevOps tooling (GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, Git, TFS, Ansible, Puppet)
- Strong experience working with the Microsoft technology stack and security products
