Josh joined Gravitas as a graduate in 2015. He has had a fantastic career to date, with career highlights including meeting The Princess Royal to collect Gravitas’ first Princess Royal Training award, winning Gravitas Global Top Team in his first year in management, and winning Gravitas Top UK team 3 years in a row.
Josh is now an Associate Director and Head of Client Solutions and Data, where he manages Gravitas Manchester’s Data, Client Solutions and Educations teams. This includes hands-on operational management and strategic decision making to enable future growth for the business, he also account manages some of Gravitas’ Key Clients.
Josh joined the recruitment industry, despite the fact he knew it can often have a negative reputation. He saw no reason why an entire industry (not involved in anything inherently immoral) should have a bad reputation; he was determined to change the narrative by building long term, mutually beneficial relationships between agencies and their clients. Of course – he’s aware that in recruitment you aren’t saving lives, but he believes that doesn’t mean you can’t do good in the world. In the past 7 years he can point to a plethora of situations where the work the team has done has genuinely changed or improved people’s circumstances.
Outside of work Josh enjoys playing tennis, travelling, watching films and going to the theatre. He’s also happy to have the odd drink too if someone else is buying!!
