Programme Manager - Automarking System Implementation (12-Month FTC)
Location: Hybrid (2-3 days per month in London office)
Salary: Circa £100,000 per annum
About the Role
Gravitas Recruitment Group is proud to partner with a leading EdTech organisation in the search for an experienced Programme Manager to lead the delivery, implementation, and service transition of a transformative Automarking system.
This system, integrating with a third-party supplier, will automate the marking of unstructured written text, reshaping how assessments are conducted. The Programme Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth delivery of the project, managing logistics, overseeing technical deliverables, and ensuring a seamless transition from project delivery to operational service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery and implementation of the Automarking system.
- Collaborate with internal teams and third-party suppliers to ensure timelines and deliverables are met.
- Manage the transition from project delivery to operational service, ensuring readiness and smooth handover.
- Apply project management, service management, and change management frameworks to drive success.
- Serve as the key liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Proactively identify risks, resolve issues, and maintain project momentum.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years in programme/project management, focusing on service transition and implementation.
- Proven track record of successfully transitioning projects to operational service.
- Strong knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, as well as service and change management frameworks.
- Basic understanding of software development processes and AI technologies.
- Excellent organisational, multitasking, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
