Gravitas are currently partnering with a Ambulance Service who are in the market for an Interim Head of IT Operations to join the team and oversee a range of projects, covering infrastructure, network, security, cyber end user services, software and service.
Role: Head of IT Operations
Contract Length: 6 months
IR35 Status: Outside
Location: Hybrid - expectation to be on site in Crawley when required.
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: £DOE
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and deliver a robust infrastructure plan and the Digital Services function
- Set up and deliver standards for key system implementation and upgrades
- Set and maintain standards for support, service, and maintenance within the organisation
- Establish and develop the necessary skills mix within the Digital Services Team and the wider teams
- Work with Senior Management to establish improvement programs covering service, people and infrastructure to ensure that support levels to the wider business are continuously enhanced.
Skills:
- Extensive experience managing IT & Operations Departments
- Exceptional knowledge and understanding of all aspects of IT
- Strong people management and leadership experience
- Significant Digital management experience
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
- NHS Sector experience (desirable)
- Project management (desirable)
