Gravitas is currently supporting a London-based financial services organisation in their search for an Lead IT Support Engineer.
Reporting to the Head of IT, the successful candidate will oversee desktop environments, administer SaaS platforms and operate the change management process. As a lead you will manage and mentor the 1st line support team, ensuring successful handling of requests and incidents. Overall playing a key role within the support function, managing the workload and priorities of the 1st line support staff.
Role: Lead IT Support Engineer
Salary: £55,000-£60,000
Location: London - 3 days a week on site - Hybrid.
Essential Skills:
- Strong experience within IT Support - plus at least 1 year within a team lead position.
- Experience with ITSM tools = optimisation of configuration and MI reports.
- Azure DevOps - release pipelines and database update.
- Windows Server / MS SQL Server experience - ability to utilize SQL to troubleshoot.
- Experience with M365 Services - such as office, exchange, Intune/autopilot, one drive and exchange.
- Ability to configure, deploy and support laptops - windows 10 and 11.
- Understanding of IT security principles.
Desirable Skills:
- Microsoft Azure Certificates.
- ITIL Certificates
As a Lead IT Support Engineer, you are responsible for the support tickets queue, ensuring all incidents and requests are distributed and handled effectively and within agreed service levels.
You and your team, will investigate, diagnose, and resolve issues and requests related to hardware, software, and connectivity across our office and private cloud environments, escalating to Senior Engineers where necessary
