We're excited to partner with a university that is out to market for a Timetabling Officer to support and deliver the production of the academic timetable using Scientia, ensuring conflicts are resolved in a timely matter. The university is expanding its timetabling team. This is a great opportunity for professionals to join close knitted team and help enhance a more connected and innovative process.

Summary of the role:

Role: Timetabling Officer

Employment Type: Permanent

Location: 1-3 days a week in London

Salary: up to £40,000

Essential skills:

  • Previous experience working in a Higher Education environment
  • Previous Timetabling/Resource scheduling experience
  • Proactive, willingness to learn and an interest in problem solving
  • Excellent communication skills as well as an ability to manage stakeholders at all levels

The role:

Reporting to the Timetabling Manager, you'll help produce and support the academic timetable using Scientia software, resolving conflicts promptly as they arise.

As part of the university's strategic objective running until 2028, they are undergoing a major transformation project moving over to a new student record system. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to come in and be part of shaping the timetabling processes and policies to ensure student experience is as high as possible. As well as this, the successful candidate will have high exposure to senior stakeholders giving them a level of visibility and strategic involvement with decisions.

Desirable skills:

  • Ability to challenging the status quo and bring innovative ideas to improve both the students´ & Academics´ experience
  • Experience working in a smaller team and understanding what comes with that.
  • Experience working with Syllabus+
