Database Developer - 60K - Hybrid

Our client a fintech in London is looking for a Database Developer or Database Engineer to join their cross-functional team. You will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our data platform to power the company's suite of products. This will include analysing and designing database solutions and integrating Power BI models into their product offerings. In addition, the candidate will enhance existing backend data platforms and maintain existing database and reporting solutions across the SQL Server suite. The role will be a mixture of greenfield and brownfield projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance the data platform to power companies suite of products.
- Analyse, design database and implement solutions for given problems
- Build a new Tabular and Power BI model to integrate into companies' products
- Enhance existing backend data platforms to deliver new business requirements
- Maintain existing database and reporting solutions across the full SQL Server suite
What they are looking for:
- SQL Server background - 4+ years' experience
- Essential to have strong SQL Server skills (ideally on SQL 2016+)
- Expert understanding of T-SQL
- Strong Understanding of SSIS and SSRS concepts
- Previous exposure to BI or Tableau solutions
- Previous experience working within AWS would be beneficial
- Previous experience with Snowflake
