This is a new role due to continuing growth and as you would expect in a reserving role you will of course be helping with quarterly reports and technical provisions.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to be involved in a wide variety of project work such as:
- Reviewing & enhancing Systems & Processes
- Building out information to provide insight to different areas of the business
- Embedding an acquisition into the business
- Additional actuarial projects
As a team they cover all classes of business and work in collaboration with multiple business units such as finance, claims, underwriting and other actuarial divisions with their global reserving actuaries based in other geographical locations too.
The successful candidate will initially collaborate closely with the Manager, providing support on various projects while gaining an in-depth understanding of the business. Over time, you will have the opportunity to focus on projects that align with your interests and contribute to your professional development.
Ideally, you will have a Property & Casualty actuarial background, including at least 2 years of experience in Reserving, and be seeking a role where you can grow and advance your career.
