We are currently partnering with a council who are in the market for a Security Architect to join the team on a 6-month contract. The Security Architect is a key role, responsible for development of the Security Architecture that ensures the appropriate protection of all aspects of security, (people, process, electronic, data, physical) in technical development and delivery in support of the Council business objectives and requirements ensuring alignment and adhering to the principles of simplification, sharing and re-use.
You will be required to lead the strategic collaboration with Senior Stakeholders in Directorates, Partner Organisations and Third-Party Suppliers to promote the Security Design aspects required in developing the councils IT Strategy to exploit innovative products, services and solutions that deliver business and Citizen benefit.

Location: Fully Remote
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: DOE c. £550 - £625 (up to £1,676.70 per week post tax)
Skills:
- Experience in similar security architecture role
- CISSP/CCSP
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Excellent documentation skills
- Knowledge of MS/Azure technologies (e.g. Endpoint, Defender)
- Palo Alto (desirable)
- MS Sentinel (desirable)
- Conditional access (desirable)
