We are working exclusively with an exciting growing organisation who have a newly created position within their exposure management team for a Senior Exposure Management Analyst.

This is great opportunity for someone who wants to develop their management skills as the team continues to grow with realistic progression into a deputy manager role.

Dealing with a wide variety of business classes we are ideally seeking an individual with a good grounding in a catastrophe/exposure analyst role who can:

  • Help develop the view of risk and the syndicates non-nat cat framework.
  • Support Event Response loss estimation (nat cat & non-nat cat)
  • Liaise on all thing's exposure management with internal and external committees.
  • Set up and improve data processes.
  • Assist with Reinsurance data submissions and quoting of Reinsurance business.
  • Develop tools to automate Exposure management processes.
  • Produce monthly exposure reports across multiple classes.
  • Assist with LCM, RDS and RDL returns.
  • Support and help develop more junior members of the team.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate ambition, enthusiasm to learn and develop and the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally. Skills an experience wise you are likely to have:

  • University degree in Mathematics, Science or a similar discipline.
  • An interest in SQL, R Studio, Python or similar programming skills.
  • Competent user of MS Excel; VBA, Access, Power BI
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail; accurate and numerate
  • Good knowledge of Lloyd's EM Reporting requirements
  • Good knowledge of aggregation risk and exposure management across both nat and/or non-nat cat
  • Strong understanding of cat modelling
  • Understanding of inwards and outwards reinsurance (advantageous)
