Senior/Lead Full Stack Engineer | £60,000 | York - 3 Days PW
I'm currently working with an established and exciting footwear brand who are going through a huge digital transformation. Founded over 50 years ago and with over 140 stores nationwide, this company are now looking to grow and expand their engineering team.
They're looking for a Senior developer to come on board and lead the team, this role is applicable not just to candidates already established at this level but also to Seniors that are looking for their first leadership role. You will be replacing old systems with new, setting the stage to allow the company to grow and scale in an efficient way. You will work closely with product managers, system architects and business stakeholders to help drive the company forward using brand new technology and best practice methodologies.
Role
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior software engineers.
- Communicate and work with the head of engineering and relevant stakeholders around project progress and outcomes.
- Oversee and lead the integration of new technologies and methodologies.
- Manage a small squad encouraging ideas that drive improvement and innovation.
Skill
- A solid understanding of React.js & Node.js
- 3 -5 years commercial experience
- Have experience of system design and development.
- Experience of stake holder management.
