Senior Oracle Developer

Financial Industry - Contract | Outside IR35 - United Kingdom - Remote

Gravitas has partnered with a leading Financial Services client of ours, who are currently hiring for an experienced Oracle Systems Developer to join the business on a contract basis. The successful candidate will have a substantial amount of hands-on Oracle development experience, and will be responsible for the development, support and maintenance of our clients revenue accounting system and related systems and functions.

• Responsible for the development, enhancement, and support of Oracle applications.
• Implement key software designs using Oracle technologies, ensuring high quality and functionality.
• Collaborate with business analysts and other developers to identify system requirements and create design specifications.
• Oracle Developer, Revenue accounting system experience, and Oracle APEX to improve and maintain financial application software.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Oracle Developer in the Finance industry.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Developer, Revenue accounting, and APEX.
• Advance level SQL and PL/SQL programming skills.
• Experience with performance tuning of SQL and PL/SQL.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work within deadlines.

 

This contract is an initial 6-month duration, however, the scope of work has a long-term outlook so there is an excellent chance of extension.
